MY STORY
Filmmaker born and raised in Guadalajara, Jalisco in México. I graduated from Yale University with a degree in Film and Media Studies and am now based in Los Angeles,
Last summer, I interned for the Television Academy Foundation, working 40 hours a week at a post house and attending weekly professional development workshops at the Academy.
Since 2019, I've worked as a video editor for Yale's School of Management and School of the Environment. I've worked on multiple student film sets, taking on roles such as First AC, DP, and Sound Recordist. I wrote and directed a seven-minute short film exploring queer identities within the Latinx community. I've posted YouTube videos for the past 4 years, amassing over 370k views. I've studied abroad in Prague to study film at FAMU.
I stumbled onto this path by chance: I accidentally fell in love with video editing after using iMovie to make YouTube videos. Then everything clicked in my brain: the countless Taco Tuesday movie nights my mom and I would have, our lives always centered around TV and movies. Since then, I've spent way too much time working on videography, screenwriting, editing, and production. And nothing has ever made me happier.
